Bill Bachman is renowned within the marching world as a multi-tenor drumming guru. He has instructed many award-winning groups including the Bluecoats, Blue Knights, and Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps. It features a short taper for plenty of weight up front which gives it the full & dark sound, the large bead which is designed to have the same maxed out footprint on the head for the hand crossed over and under, and the drop-down fulcrum notch which gives the front fingers better access for quick finesse playing while allowing the back of the stick to taper up and match the contour of the hand.
